You spawn in a random generated city. The city is full of white minimalistic houses. You hear a sound, you follow the sound. The sound is getting louder. You follow the sound. You see a red strange thing. You go to that thing and you played out a level. This is GenerativeCityFreeRun in a nutshell. A game made by LineKernel and available on itch.io for free on Windows Linux and MacOS.
The game is made by LineKernel, an indie game developer living in South France. This is his first serious game and I think that it's a great game with a lot op opportunity.
The game itself:
In this game, you spawn in a city with totally random generated house, this is really cool because every city is different but sometimes, you have a really weird generated house, like the house in the picture here at the right side of this paragraph.
The whole city is filled with white houses, with gives the game is really nice ambiance and feeling of freedom when you are free running between the houses.
The game runs really well with no problems so far, so this isn't a problem. It runs on Windows, Linus and MacOS which is always nice.
The game has a lot of opportunity but it needs some finetuning. Unfortunately, the last update was at may 2016, that's why I don't think that there will be more updates in the future.
